My name is Sebastian Tarrant. I’m 19 years old and I am the owner of United Equine Products.
I started United Equine Products (Formerly Fly Free Equine) as a way to earn some money to support my hobbies of mountain biking and filmmaking, but I soon fell in love with business and realised that this is what I wanted to pursue in life.

I came across the highly effective recipe for our first product as my younger sister, Alex, is an eventer. While at our previous livery yard, I was lucky enough to be given an old family recipe for fly spray. I then spent all of my pocket money to get as many spray bottles and ingredients as I could. I then went with my family to an event and sold out! (This was the first time I was not reluctant to be dragged along to one of my sister’s events).
Since then I have continued to grow the business and have loved every minute of it.

In May of 2024, I attended the world famous Badminton Horse Trials, my first ever trade show! I managed to get a stand with less than a weeks notice, giving me just enough time to prepare my stock.

The show was an astounding success that launched the company to a whole new level! We sold out after only two days and had to drive two and a half hours back to Herefordshire to make new stock, we finished work at 2am and left to get back to Badminton at 5am!

Since Badminton, I have attended more equestrian trade shows, each more fun than the last!
